It all started with a dream to help more people get more out of the software they already own. Four years working in a law firm and six years working as a consultant have taught me that almost everyone would benefit from training on the tools they use every day. However, the cost of good training can be cost prohibitive. If you need training to work more efficiently and you need to work more efficiently to have spare resources to invest in training, you can see the catch-22.
Affinity Consulting Group launched Affinity University, an on-demand training video subscription, years ago. Affinity University's subscribers love the service, but many legal professionals told us they were looking for ways to supplement the videos. Just-in-time training is critical, but it works best when someone has an issue that they need help solving at that exact moment. A well rounded training program requires regularly scheduled training to keep skills sharp.
That's where Affinity Insight comes in. Affinity Insight is Affinity Consulting Group's new training membership program. Every membership level includes access to Affinity University. The top two membership tiers, Plus and Premium, include regularly scheduled training on the software that you use every day.
With at least two training webinars a month, Affinity Insight keeps its members focused on learning. Each regularly scheduled webinar includes 30-45 minutes of training and 15-30 minutes of question and answer. After the webinar, attendees receive a quick reference guide for each major skill taught in the training webinar. The quick reference guides include step-by-step instructions filled with annotated screen shots.
The manuals go beyond the instructions provided in the quick reference guides to explain why features work the way they do. They also explain why the instructions provided are the right approach to solving common problems. The manuals are invaluable resources to keep on-hand.
Premium membership goes even further, providing members with a lead trainer to address all of their training concerns. The lead trainer works with the member to develop a custom new hire on-boarding plan and six additional, customized training webinars. The member and lead trainer meet quarterly to discuss training challenges and ensure that the training plan is working for the member.
The best part about Affinity Insight is that it offers Plus and Premium members regular training at a significant cost savings. Interested in learning more? Click here to learn more about Affinity Insight or contact Danielle DavisRoe directly.
