Many of us who used to go into the office every day are used to working with coworkers. However, now that many of us are working from home, our families have become our office mates. Spouses who used to go their separate was during the business day are figuring out how to share home office space. Children, off from school on extended spring breaks, need care and attention. On the other hand, those who live alone may feel isolated and lonely.
My husband and I are getting through this by separating ourselves as much as possible during the day. We are fortunate that we live in a house big enough to give us each our own space to work. We set up separate desks in separate rooms with doors that close so that we do not interfere with each other's meetings. We get together for lunch, enjoying a home-cooked meal at our kitchen table before separating for an afternoon of work.
